Pilates with it’s attention to proper form and detail, makes it a method of exercise like no other. The Pilates practice uniquely aligns and develops all parts of the body creating a strong, functional, and correctly structured foundation where students feel muscles they never knew they had. Pilates is so effective because it targets the deep muscles that stabilize your entire body, while also improving strength, balance and posture making you strong to the core.

With Pilates attention to alignment and core details, this class is designed to increase your muscular strength and tone by using the reformer, your own body weight, and anything we can get our hands-on. This class provides a steady flow, so be ready to walk away feeling strong and empowered.

*It is suggested to have Pilates Method class experience prior to this class.

This class is designed to target and improve your cardiovascular health while providing a wonderful sculpting effect on the entire body. The jump board employs the principles of plyometrics to train coordination, strengthen muscles and burn calories. This class aims to get your heart rate up and keep it there (while still being able to laugh at how much fun you are having).  The jump board is a great alternative to traditional cardio, and is recommended for anyone looking to strengthen lower body joints, get relief from osteoporosis or just looking to get a radical fat-burning workout!  Be prepared to jump, curl, plank, hold, pulse, sweat, and repeat!

*We request you have reformer experience before “jumping” into this class, as it is designed to provide a more powerful and consistent flow.

Barre classes combine Pilates, Yoga, and Ballet methods, that incorporate small isolated movements to fatigue the muscles, large range motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates upper and lower body to make every minute count. Be ready for a fun, functional workout, to upbeat music and a guaranteed burn while maintaining the precision and emphasis on alignment found in Pilates. No experience needed; just a willingness to learn and have fun.

BARRE method

This is our signature Barre workout. Combining Ballet inspired movements with Pilates alignment principles, this class incorporates light weights (bands, balls, sliders) with high repetitions moves that challenge your strength, coordination, and balance to help tone your body in ways that no other technique can. Special focus is placed on the thigh and seat area to isolate and define each muscle without the strain of lifting, plus some bonus bursts of cardio style movements to keep that heart rate elevated. Even the most practiced movement enthusiasts will be challenged to push the limits of their inner and outer strength - with a lifted tush to boot!

*All levels are welcome.

Our kick-ass barre moves will tone the rest!

*All levels are welcome.

We are excited to share our new infrared heating system. This unique heating system allows our yoga classes to heat quickly, and to a set temperature. Our classes range from warm; 80 degrees, to heated; 90-100 degrees, and hot; 100-105 degrees. In our class schedule, you will see the temperature of the class next to each class description. This allows you to choose a heat that’s right for you. Infrared heat is an incredible addition to your yoga practice as this type of heat is not stifling, but supportive. We invite you to experience the magic of infrared heat for yourself.

*We also offer a few classes each week that are not heated.

Yoga method

Expect an accommodating practice full of static postures, mindful breathwork, and a manageable pace. This dynamic allows for a greater focus on alignment and mindful breathing, making the practice accessible to yogis of all levels, especially beginners. Yoga Method is designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones, while the postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely. This practice asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment.

YOGA FLOW

Yoga Flow emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. The Yoga Flow practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind. As we ride the waves of breath in our Yoga practice, we learn to ride the waves of change in our lives with more ease. This class moves from pose to pose with each breathe being the guiding force. Expect a fully balanced class of forward bending, twists, backbends with opportunity for inversions. All levels are welcome to join this dynamic practice in finding one's state of flow.

prenatal yoga

Prenatal Yoga is used to help mothers connect better with baby, stay healthy throughout pregnancy, remain flexible and strong helping her prepare for the challenges of labor & birth. Our unique prenatal yoga class goes well beyond simply modifying yoga poses. We celebrate community and strive to make your pregnancy as comfortable as possible. Each class includes poses that bring balance and alignment to the pelvis, pelvic floor, and pelvic and uterine ligament with the intention of encouraging your baby into a more optimal birthing position so you may have a more functional, less complicated birth.
