about AMY
Amy Antongiovanni has taught yoga for over twenty years. Her background in traditional Hatha Yoga includes Ashtanga and Iyengar training, both of which emphasize body and breath awareness. She has taught pre-natal yoga, gentle yoga, and meditation classes to children, teens and adults.
Each Yoga Method class will include a brief meditation, focus on breath work and integrating the mind, body and spirit. All levels, including beginners, are welcome in her classes.
Amy is also a writer and teaches in the English Department at Butte College.
She studied with various teachers in the Bay Area and Northern California in the mid-nineties. Amy has taught Gentle Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga for twenty years at Chico Sports Club and for 6 years at Yoga Center of Chico.
